Well its been a long time since I posted. I guess I got caught up in work, home and kids. Everyone is good though. Corina got her own place so Diego and Berna are staying with her. They like it a lot but they still spend a lot of time with grandma. Diego is getting ready to go to school . Wow 5 years. It feels like yesterday that he went to preschool for the first time.Berna has been to the doctor several times she seems to have a developmental problem so there have been tests tests and more tests. Poor Berna, she hates the ride. We"ll keep you posted. Well its off to work facing a long week. Love you guys Emma

Hello everybody! Here we are freezing, the temperature is about 30 degrees. I"m in my bed covered with a blanket. It seems like just yesterday it was hot, hot, hot. Oh yeah, it was yesterday. Halloween is right around the corner and Diego and Berna are really looking forward to all the fun. Diego wanted to be Manny Rivera aka El Tigre, thats his favorite cartoon. I had to talk him out of it because I couldn't find one. He decided on a calavera costume instead. Whew got out of that one. The busy season is upon us so I know Im going to be so tired. Well the cast is off! It is a great relief to finally get my hand off. I did not realize all the things I couldn't do so now I can type again, yea! The doctor gave me some hand exercises to do but other than that I'm great. So now its work, work, and more work. Ernesto is deep into his classes and loving it. Joaquin is busy with school. He really loves his ROTC class and seems to be doing well. As for the kids, well they are a handful but they are doing good. Next thing is flu shots. We're gonna get them all. Hopefully we can stay clear of that nasty bug. Love Emma

well i got my new cast. its pretty in pink. but its doing good so far no surgery, and its healing well. i just forget its even there. so i have to wear this one for 3 weeks. aftre that a splint for while. joaquin is busy getting ready for school. hes sporting a nice new hat pictures will followe. bernadette and diego are enjoying the rest of thier summer. they are just so happy to play outside. our latest movie was g i joe, diego and joaquin just loved it, well i guess its a guy thing. love you guys!

well here i am. ive been home for a few days and i finnally feel a little better. ive been able to sleep sometimes the pain wakes me up but not too bad. in the meantime ive been catching up with my tv shows. ive nbeen watching thr next foodnetwork star. they kicked off my favorite she was the korean and she made some good food. oh well theyll probably give her a show anyway. and some other shows. i could stay home forever, well not really but its not so bad. love you guys

well here i am with a broken wrist. i had a bad fall at work, from a ladder. i missed the last 2 steps and down i went. but with bad comes good. we had a good inventory so everyone was very happy. it was good to see elvira and her family i felt bad i couldnt stay home and visit but inventory was calling. i hoped they enjoyed the new theatre/bowling alley. there are so many new things in deming. so now im laid up and its kinda hard to type with one hand but ill let you guysknow how we are. love you guys ouch!

Well we had a nice 4th of July. I had to work so that was not different but I got of in time to take Diego, Bernadette and Joaquin to the fireworks. We parked at the soccer field with our lawn chairs and some sparklers. The kids had a great time even though Diego was more concerned with running across the field. Bernadette loved the pretty colors and just enjoyed it. Joaquin helped as usual I dont know what I would do without him. Ernesto cooked up some bratwurst and veggies, man it was just delicious and by the time we got home I was starving. This morning I told the kids if they helped us clean they could go to the movies so they worked really hard. They picked Transformers, Diego said it was the best movie he had ever seen. He highly recommends it, lol. Ive been working really hard. Inventory is upon us, so is the stress. Oh well this too will pass. Hope everybody had a good 4th. Love Emma

Here is a picture of the green mountains in this little town. It has big mountains and big casinos. Okay Ill admit it. I caved in and went to the casino. And guess what I won $3. Yep big spender. But you get free drinks so that was okay. Dont worry folks it was only a coke. Our classes today were hard but I am starting to really get it. The people here are so nice they are really going out of their way to make sure we understand all this thingamajig, my word for anything I dont understand. But really if anybody can make it up here it would be well worth the trip. In the winter they have skiing and from what they tell me a bunch of snow. One more day missing my babies, yes you Joaquin.lol Love mom

Well here we are in Riudoso its great here. They got us a really nice room at the best western. We had a really nice ride up here and it went pretty fast. My roommate Elizabeth and I stopped at the Pistachio Farm. Man I could have stayed there all day it was so good. Then we stopped at the Inn Of The Mountain Gods and Oh my god, the place is like too much. I want to move into that place. Ill take some pictures on my way back. Our classes start at 8 am so I am going to bed now. They told us we will be working really hard so Im going to get all the rest I can. Daniel I love your blog and you need to keep singing you really have a lot of talent. How did that happen I dont think any of us n carry a tune.lol. Not really you guys. Love you guys!

Well Im back from my class. It was really great we learned alot. But the best part is getting to know a lot of different people from all over. Most of them had been with walmart for years and years so thats always fun to hear all those stories. So this w.eek we go to Ruiodoso and some of the girls from that store promised to show us around. But Im glad to be home and cant wait to see Bernadette and Diego who I miss very much. Theyre spending some time with their mom and of course they are having a blast. So miss you guys! See you soon!

Well it was a wild weekend. We worked on the kitchen, well Ernesto did cause I was sick. Food poisoning I think. Anyway Im all better now and able to enjoy my new dishwasher. Yep a new dishwasher, hopefully that will free up some time for me to spend with the kids. Oh yeah and on my computer. Yes I got a promotion at work it means Ill be working weekends but it was a good raise so hopefully it will go okay. The position is cmz or something like that. All I know is that I have to go to Las Cruces for training and then to Ruidoso. Of course Ill take my camera cuz Ive never been there. So wish me luck and I hope everyone is doing okay.

Well its a new day in Deming NM. The long awaited theatre is now open. Diego, his dad Eric, Joaquin, CJ (Joaquins friend) and I decided to go check out the new place. Well it is very nice. It has a bowling alley, with 12 lanes. A putt putt with movie theme play. And of course the movies with 6 screens. We decided to watch terminator good choice the movie was great. A bit loud but good. Diego of course had his popcorn and drink and acted very good. He really enjoyed it the chairs we sat on were rockers. Really comfortable. I forgot my camera but Evelia and I are going to go bowling this weekend so Ill take some pics then. Oh yeah I got a promotion at work more about that tomarrow.

JOAQUIN GRADUATES 8TH GRADE

Today was a big day in the southwest Aguirres lives. Joaquin is now officially in highschool. His graduation ceremony was today. He enters Deming High with a couple of credits from his honors classes. I am very proud of you Joaquin and I hope you do just as well next year. Not to be outdone Diego is being promoted to the big kid class at his daycare/school. He is also very proud and happy. I hope everyone did well in school this year and lets all have a great summer!
